Reports Palm (PALM) Buyout Getting Close
Reports from Unstrung.com, a Palm (Nasdaq: PALM) buyout could be finalized by Thursday, for $20 or more per share. The report said, Nokia (NYSE: NOK) is the leading vendor bidder, but Palm management is also looking to private equity buyers. Link
Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) is moving higher on resurfaced chatter the company could be the target of a takeover. A few publications are reporting on the rumors today, which got going again on 02/15. The stock is up 3.5% in mid-day action.
Palm A More Attractive Takeover Target Following Drop?
In a post at SeekingAlpha, Richard Shaw said the decline in Palm (Nasdaq: PALM) related to its Q2 warning and product delay could make it a more attractive takeover target. Link
Shares of Palm are 6.7% lower to $14.34 following yesterday's waring.
