Foot Locker (FL) Up on Renewed Takeover Chatter

Foot Locker Inc. (NYSE: FL) is seeing interest mid-day on renewed takeover chatter. In November of 2006, commenting on rumors of a takeover, the CEO said rumors of a potential sale of the Company are not true. Separately, Foot Locker has been mentioned as a possible suitor of Genesco (NYSE: GCO).
