FT.com Reports Saudi Basic Industries Corporation May Look to Acquire GE's (GE) Plastic Division

FT.com reports Saudi Basic Industries Corporation has hired Citigroup to advise on a potential $12 billion bid to acquire General Electric's (NYSE: GE) Plastic Division.
In January, GE hired Goldman Sachs to help explore the sale of the company's plastics unit.
